What is the healthiest thing to snack on?

  • When it comes to snacking, the offer is almost endless. Walking down the supermarket aisles, you can easily gauge the choice of products you can find. The US market for snacks is worth over 42 billion dollars in 2022 and has been growing steadily for the past several years with new snacks coming to the market trying to target the million dollar question: How can I drop 10 pounds fast while still being able to snack?

The answer goes in 2 fold: snacking better will help you lose weight and exercising regularly will help you maintain this weight loss.

  • Snacking better is a multi-direction goal: It means staying away from salty snacks which are unhealthy. They will cause your body to retain water, increase blood pressure and weight gain. The big issue is this type of snack is part of the American way of life, illustrated by the bag of chips!
